What timeline is this?! Here to be informed and trying not to lose my mind. (I want to be nice, but F*** Trump, Musk, etc., ad nauseum, ad infinitum). I know, I vent and rant too much...I'm angry right now.

Today’s Iran is today’s Iran because we brought about regime change in the early 1950s. Iran wanted to nationalize their oil, which basically meant kicking American oil companies out. America deposed a democratically elected leader and installed the Shah, a brutal dictator and authoritarian leader whom the Iranians ousted in their 1979 revolution. Now, here we are again, bent on regime change. Yes, the current government of Iran is an abhorrent abomination, but the United States has no one to blame but the United States for this situation. What makes this administration think things will be different this time around?
