I joined the 4 Rivers Progressive Coalition at their monthly meeting in Washington on Saturday. My campaign manager, Ellie Hayes, grew up in Union and lived in Washington for many years. She was deeply offended that I was considering not stopping at Cowan’s ‘Home of the Mile High Pie’ for a slice.

She was not letting us leave town without stopping by for a cup of coffee and the finest home made pies in Franklin County. Not gonna lie…she was not wrong. Took half home with me but worth the extra mile of walking today! Don’t miss this tradition in beautiful downtown Washington!
