Doctor Robotnik begins with a smug remark and equally smug expression , stating, "I find it quite ironic that a man whom refers to himself as "The Devil Reborn" can't swat a few bothersome flies." General Morden squints back with an annoyed expression, replying with, "A minor setback, one that barely affects my plans at all! And I still have yet to see YOU and your KOOPA KING crony deal with that MEDDLESOME HEDGEHOG and his PEA-BRAINED PLUMBER FRIENDS!" "All in good time, my Dear General. All in good time." Robotnik concludes.
A WIP Sketch of a curvier Amy with the Speed Racer outfit from the 2008 Live Action Wachowski Sisters film. I found that Amy absolutely KILLS in Crossworlds when you have the right loadout, and I will ALWAYS find a way to link racing games back to that absolute masterpiece of a movie. ROSY RACER, GO ~ !
Three separate sketches of Finnegan Rayne's Exo Suit. One sketch showcases the arm designs, and possible blaster design to boot. Taking more inspiration from Lightyear, Finn will point his wrist downward and hold his arm while aiming and taking shots. The sketch below that shows How the helmet will sit in the armor, along with the first bit of building and carving out of the armor's torso and visor. The third and final sketch showcases a VERY rough full-body design for the Exo Suit. I do plan on adding in the blue triangular pyramid pieces from the original Ar-Wing in various places, to add a bit of a sleeker, angular look to the armor.
Two expressions on the left show some practice with tooth placement and facial wrinkling, mostly because I just wanted an excuse to draw Krystal being an angry fopps. One has her snarling while bearing her teeth, the other shows her bellowing in response to an opponent. The three pieces on the right showcase the helmet that "Fox" wears underneath the Buzz Lightyear styled glass dome visor. In this AU, "Fox," or as I'm simply calling him now, "The Space Man," was previously talked about by me, as playing the roll of a secret Post-Game Boss. He would be a huge glimpse into a possible sequel. In essence, I want the first game to feel like Lost Planet, with the second following the same steps by opening up the world, or in this case, the entire Universe around them. I wanted this to have a very Ray-Gun Future feel to it. In example, the "Boss Title Card" art or what-have-you will look like one of those old 60's horror movie posters. Something that starts off with a cheesy little worded intro, like "Suspense! Horror! Action! The Amazonian Champion of Planet Kretoa experiences the OTHERWORLDY in . . . ATTACK OF THE SINISTER SPACE-MAN!" He and Krystal will both eventually undergo name-changes to avoid copyright issues, but I digress. Fox's Power-Armor is inspired by many different iconic armors throughout media history. In no particular order, the inspirations are : Buzz Lightyear, Jin-Roh of The Wolf Brigade, the Original Doomguy Armor, and The Helghast Armor from Killzone.
Both Pinkie Pie and Applejack stand in awe at the fully formed Getter Three, looming large over the two with a close-up shot of its face. The Title Drop Text reads "Getter Three - The Golden Boar." When Musashi had previously tried to tell Applejack and Pinkie Pie about the Getter, he was met with light scrutiny from the two, ruling it off as something out of pure fantasy, not possible at all. Well, when calamity later rears its head and Nightmare Moon invades, one of her Legionnaire Generals gives the trio a difficult battle. In a last ditch effort, Musashi makes a run for Getter Machine Bear, taking off and successfully causing the other two Getter Machines to fly over and combine. Musashi, now one with Getter Three, uses his newfound form to pummel the General away from his two friends, remarking, "Ayy, AJ! Pinkie! Eat your hearts out! I TOLD you guys my Getter Three is NO JOKE!"
