“I missed you,” Duncan said. His warm breath brushed his lips, tempting him. Thor wanted to bide his time. They couldn't rush this, not here, not in a way that Duncan wouldn't like. There was a sweetness in his voice that captivated him like no other. He wanted, no, needed to hear it again. “I'm here,” Thor said. His hand fell from the tree to hold Duncan's waist instead. He brought him closer, then kissed him softer than before. A quiet hum was his reward. “I missed you, too. I'm sorry that I've been so busy.” “You're always busy,” Duncan frowned. “I know,” Thor replied. He began playing with the hem of Duncan's shirt. It was soft, yet made of cheap fabric that could be easily torn. The wind rustled through the trees and their hair. “I've been meaning to visit, but the throne's been more demanding as of late. Nothing is going as planned.” “Do you want to talk about it?”
