Just imagine billionaires would put even put half as much effort and money into averting the climate and biodiversity crisis as into shooting rockets into space...what a wonderful world this would be! (hint: there are also well paid jobs in sustainable industries...)

Fun fact - I interviewed two or three times for BO, every time I felt that the decision was made for some strange political reason. Internal politics, not regular ones. If they built the rockets the same way...
