I'm sure I'm forgetting many others for why church environments have major abuse cover up situations. Feel free to add in those I have forgotten. 1/

- a belief that being a Christian makes you morally upstanding therfore putting more trust in a Christian environment and assuming you need to protect your kids less from predators in that space. 2/
