I *think* it was @0x47df.bsky.social that pointed me at these cameras, modifying them turns out to be super fucking easy if you don’t mind having a few spare parts after you are done reassembly lol. Such as a completely cracked hot mirror and the self cleaning static thing getting completely fucked

I sneezed while carefulling the hot mirror and ended up just fucking cracking it. Oh well. It was getting removed anyway lmao and the camera still works perfectly for its intended use.
i was only ever brave enough to do it to an old powershot that set me back like £4 on ebay 😅
