A video of the gear character moving along different sets of "gear racks", the current setup has: 1. The "teeths" have collision on them (doubting if I need them but they made sense at the time) 2. While not fully implemented, I'm using a Area2D with a Collision Polygon 2D that detects Player collisions and if it does, the player is intended to "lock" in place. 3. While locked, the player can move (depending on positions) vertically, horizontally, roofs and on slanted angles.
