text reads: Homosexuality is a changeable behaviour. Research published by Masters and Johnson in their book, Human Sexuality, published in 1982, shows that 50 percent of homosexuals can successfully be returned to heterosexuality. REAL Women do not believe that homosexuals are discriminated against as a minority. Everyone is against discrimination. The word connotes prejudice and bigotry. But there is a difference between permitting discrimination on an irrational basis, such as race, and permitting employers, landlords or others to exercise a sound discretion based on a legitimate factor, such as moral behaviour. Homosexuality is a psycho-sexual disorder, and refusal to pass laws giving special privileges to homosexuals is not discrimination. If we legislate sexual orientation, it could lead to judgments against parents, businesses, organizations and everyone who has convictions that moral character does matter. A parent should have the right to consider the moral calibre of those who come into contact with their children. This would only be the beginning. For example, gay rights activists are already lobbying to repeal the age of consent for sexual behaviour; for the recognition of homosexual and lesbian marriages; for the spousal rights of live-in lovers, such as health care, and for other laws promoting social acceptance of homosexuality. This legislation would benefit the 1percent of homosexuals who have lifelong partners, and certainly be a statement of approval by our government of this lifestyle.

Some 15 percent of our membership is men.
The state has already understood a fact that the Left has struggled to accept: misogynists make great informants. Before or regardless of whether they are ever recruited by the state to disrupt a movement or destabilize an organization, they’ve likely become well versed in practices of disruptive behavior. They require almost no training and can start the work immediately. What’s more paralyzing to our work than when women and/or queer folks leave our movements because they’ve been repeatedly lied to, humiliated, physically/verbally/emotionally/sexually abused? Or when you have to postpone conversations about the work so that you can devote group meetings to addressing an individual member’s most recent offense? Or when that person spreads misinformation, creating confusion and friction among radical groups? Nothing slows down movement building like a misogynist.

I have further to prove that society knows how injurious such conditions are to the health and the life of the workers, and yet does nothing to improve these conditions. That it knows the consequences of its deeds; that its act is, therefore, not mere manslaughter, but murder, I shall have proved, when I cite official documents, reports of Parliament and of the Government, in substantiation of my charge.
