Drove right up to this wind turbine. Could hear a slight whooshing sound as the blades went by. Very cool to be so close to this giant harnessing the endless wind and producing cleaner electricity for PEI. FYI carbon payback on a wind turbine is estimated at 3-4 months of operation. (After that long it has displaced carbon emissions equivalent to its manufacture, transportation and construction. 🚧 (
