Ehm... Swedish native speaker here. I have NEVER heard of this proverb, and it does not "feel" like a genuine phrase to me. It is grammatically correct and the spelling is fine too, but it literary translates to "worry gives small things a big shadow" (things in plural and shadow in singular)
