There's a Jump Ahead button? 馃憖 Or is this a third-party extension (I usually just press the L button on the keyboard a few times, to jump ahead 10 seconds until the segment ends 馃槅)
Using the sponsor block browser plug-in is not an option for you?
No just a fixed number of seconds: J and k for forward and back.
Look up 'SponsorBlock'.
Get SponsorBlock and set it up to do it automatically lol.
(Turns out this is a YouTube Premium-only feature! And there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut...)
Maybe I just missed it, but it sure does seem like a lot of people are asking "why can't you use sponsorblock" and a lot less people are asking "why is it only okay when Google puts already existing functionality behind a paywall?"
Most sponsor segments are about 1 minute long, so I just press L six times. ( For those who don鈥檛 know, J K L does 10s backward, pause, and 10s forward respectively. F for full screen, M for mute, < > goes through frames when paused, super handy if you *just* missed something )
didn't know that was a thing, but I do know you can use the arrow keys to skip I think it's 5-10 seconds.
On my TV's Youtube App, if you have Premium, if you attempt to skip forwards the [regular length of time], it will jump ahead to where everybody else jumps lol So! The technology inside this website DOES exist! (fwiw i just use SponsorBlock on desktop)
Ctrl+right arrow works for me .
Not in Vanilla youtube, but if you use Sponsor Block on browser they have the reverse of this feature where it auto-skips the sponsor, and you can press Enter to unskip if you want.
Well there must be on mobile because it happens to me in reverse Every Single Time I try to skip 10 seconds backward 馃檭
Sponsorblock does this automatically, and you can tune it specifically to skip what parts you want or no not.
Also, n.b., type "?" i.e. shift-/ for a list of all keyboard shortcuts, including this one (and the fact it's premium-only)
