I am reaching out regarding your 311 complaints concerning the construction site at 138 Sylvia Avenue. I attended the site and spoke with the site superintendent. During our discussion, I advised that appropriate dust-control measures must be utilized. The superintendent indicated that they have water trucks and multiple water tanks on site to help mitigate dust generation. Unfortunately, as this is a provincial project, the municipality does not have jurisdiction to take enforcement action related to the dust-control concerns at this site. If you continue to experience issues and believe adequate dust-control measures are not being implemented, I recommend contacting your local MLA to raise your concerns. Thank you.
