First batch of old method glycerine preserving diorama plants. Not holding enough color. But can be paired anyways. Just nice to have the choice not to. They have been soaked in two parts glycerine and one part warm water for 5 days. Then pressed for five and left in a sunny spot to sweat out excess glycerine for a week. I will try different sealants and primer - pva/acrylic medium/AK lacquer and micro filler just to test out results.

There was no grass or flowers in the Jurassic period. It’s took a climate disaster to produce flowers and pollination. The atmosphere was like a sauna apparently and Horsetail was the grass analogue. Silica based plants were common and were hardy.

UV resin putty. New to me. Will be interesting to see what it can do with my rusty skills.
