Coreopsis Golden Needles has single yellow petals with cranberry-red centers and needle-like green leaves on thin stems. Bees adore it!
Scabiosa Butterfly Blue flowers, which are more of a periwinkle color. Pincushion centers with frilly outer petals, thus the Pincushion Flower common name. Lots of Scabiosa’s lower growing greenery is also visible.
The medium pink petals (actually the bracts) of Scarlet Fire Dogwood, surrounded by its green leaves slightly droopy with hints of burgundy.

Spiderwort “Webmaster” Tradescantia’s flowers close up with a teeny tiny pollinator on one. The 3-petaled flowers are dusted with soft lavender color, the edges are white, and the center pollen is bright yellow surrounded by tiny fuzzy hairs in dark purple and lavender. Background is the greenery of the plant.
