My 5 star review for "The Macabre" by Kosoko Jackson. "This book was dark and full of horror, but also so much more. I kept highlighting so many parts that I hope stick with me. An amazing read."
Around three in the morning, a door shut in the hallway outside my room, waking me up. It was freezing. I hadnā€™t noticed it before, but now that the villa was eerily silent, I noticed that there had been a hum earlier, present pretty much everywhere. It was gone now. My phone sat on the nightstand, barely any additional charge from when I had plugged it in. The power was out. ā€œFuck.ā€ There were probably other blankets out there in a linen closet, I just needed to force myself out of bed first. All I needed was a blanket or two. I eventually decided to get up instead of braving it alone, rushing out into the hallway to find something else to wrap up in. The linen closet was close by. I pulled it open. Plenty of blankets, ready to be seized. Only a few were taken. It was freezing in here, probably even colder downstairs. And only a few blankets were gone? Oh, right. Four out of the ten people here were partnered up. Six, if you included the exes Noel and Lonnell. If Warren was as confident as he put on, he could have asked the others to sleep with him. For warmth. Patrick was a good looking guy. He could have easily done the same. Quellon, too. He probably had so many fans chomping at the bit to get with him. Heā€”and especially Lonnellā€”could have invited someone over after we all went to bed. Brought their own warmth in from the outside. Carried that warmth with them wherever they went. Had their pick of how they wanted to stay warm all year round. Marcus and Terry kept each other warm. Erin and Robert did, too. There was no telling if they stayed warm all year, but at least most of it. They looked like they at least wanted to stay warm. That would be enough. Wanting to be someone elseā€™s warmth. I grabbed two thick woven blankets and shut the door quietly, then made my way back to my cold bed.

Playing as Namor in Marvel Rivals. I have returned to the map after dying and am rushing to help capture the point. While fighting on the point with my allies, the enemy team groups up...and I have my Ultimate. I summon the giant whale and kill 5 of them in one hit.
