Lloyd continued with an ever-expanding group of teachers: Diaǃkwāin, ǀAǃkúṅta, ǃKweiten-ta-ǁKen, ǀHaṅǂkassʼō & others joined ǁKabbo. By 1879, they had amassed 110 notebooks, including thousands of pages & hundreds of drawings.

Lloyd, as a woman - & an unmarried one - was always vulnerable & lost her position at the South African Library in 1880. By 1874, supporting her extended family & the teachers who lived with them, became too much. Instead she turned to editing & organising the work.
