All done. 5% of the young people? WTH.

R.A.Smith · Jun 2

Thats a pathetic turn out ( unless its just the early voting numbers 🤞)

Ecoprairiepainter · Jun 2

That is just sad that young people arnt voting!

@yug0w0lf.bsky.social · Jun 2

This is only 58%?

🦋Joy B🦋 · Jun 1

If the younger generation do not like having old people in government and old ideas, please vote. Young ideas and votes will change this country for the better.

@jasonr86.bsky.social · Jun 2

I like the idea that a person can’t complain about a political issue if they could but chose not to vote.

BFox135 · Jun 1

I don't understand how my generation is being effected the most and yet don't fucking vote....

JoeCGiles · Jun 2

If enough Californians vote in the primary, we can keep a Republican off the ballot for governor this fall. Vote!

Scaypgrayce · Jun 2

As usual, my/our age bracket shows up.

mike dalena - That’s Mushroom Mousse. · Jun 1

Ugh! So frustrating to see the 18-34 demographic ignoring their civic duty! Please go vote young people!

Amend America · Jun 2

Check out our latest American Update article about voting rights and what our sweeping constitutional reform #amendment does to protect them! amendamerica.org/the-american...

BornInDaEB 🟦🟧 · Jun 2

Abso-freakin-lutely! (From yesterday.)

kaykatz · Jun 2

The percentages shown are abysmal. What's wrong with people? Come on CA, your life DEPENDS on these elections. Not bragging/bragging: I mailed in my ballot the day after I received it.

Edward · Jun 2

@mylastgaynerve.bsky.social · Jun 1

WTF is wrong with people? GTF OUT AND FUCKING VOTE! There are NO excuses! NONE!

Waycool Jr · Jun 2

Exactly why people should shut up about the 18-40 vote. No, they do not show up to vote in regularity. The youth vote is Fools Gold.

@redballoonsue.bsky.social · Jun 1

5%! That's shocking. Come one young people, don't let the old dudes dictate your future because they do not have your care in their sights. Get out and VOTE!

@patrick-p-1975.bsky.social · Jun 2

Yes, don't be lazy. Vote like the future of democracy depends on it. The only way the current administration is held accountable it for people to vote for it.

Eclectic Sky Writer · Jun 2

Pathetic turnout.

@jgoldfarb93.bsky.social · Jun 2

For all of my fellow Los Angelenos, please DO NOT VOTE FOR FAILED D-LIST REALITY SHOW GRIFTING HACK Spencer Pratt. Please vote for @nithyaforthecity.bsky.social or #KarenBass instead in tomorrow’s primary election On June 2, 2026

Rebecca Boston · Jun 1

Hey @georgetakei.bsky.social vote hub is on bsky as well @votehub.com no need to screen grab from twitter.

Susan Gemmill · Jun 2

It's not political to vote, it's your voice! Use it to call out the price of gas, an illegal war, the cost of food and housing, the cost of day care and health care...things that matter to you. This is why we vote!! #Vote #SheShed

Chris · Jun 1

Those #s are pathetic.

MV · Jun 1

If fhey don't and are not happy with the selection, they have nothing to say.

@travelingthrulife.bsky.social · Jun 1

Or never complain about boomers again or how we need young people in office. If you don't vote you deserve nothing.

A Travis-T · Jun 2

42% of CA voters are simply ageless.

@raittafan.bsky.social · Jun 2

And, Independents, if you want to stay that way - both with Dem’s!

Melinda here 4 the defeat of evil 🛑 this shit 💙🤬 · Jun 2

Fucking pathetic 💙 WTH are you the German neighbors next door who just turned their backs because they were afraid to get involved?

@sgtgranny.bsky.social · Jun 2

Over 1 million voters STILL think Republicans are a good idea??? Pathetic.

@reneedodson.bsky.social · Jun 2

18-34 5% what a disgrace

Clara McK · Jun 2

Comments here are rude as hell. We’ve been waiting for the last minute to vote. 🗳️ I voted for Tom Steyer as he is the best candidate.

H82fail · Jun 2

15%... Still? What the hell.

MK · Jun 2

Young people must get involved in politics. Get informed! Vote!

Ana Zúñiga · Jun 2

Other ?!😱

Michael Eason · Jun 2

My home dropped off ours at an official ballot drop box yesterday and Mom and stepdad last week. It’ll always baffle me why so many just brush it off. There’re so many tools at our fingertips to research something or someone on your ballot.

Rhabdos · Jun 2

VOTE GODAMMIT! Vote as if our Constitutional Republic depends on it! (Because it does!)

Ellen Byron - Maria DiRico · Jun 1

Studio City representing! Dropped off the fam's ballots yesterday.

The Literature Cat · Jun 1

You don't want the 60+ being the age demographic that decides elections. They have houses and retirement funds. They do not care about the rest of us.

Dan · Jun 2

It is so hard to comprehend the apathy of the American voter.

kkmbol · Jun 2

twocvbloke · Jun 2

Remember; No vote, No say! If you can't be arsed to get out and vote, you can't complain when SHTF because people don't bother to change the status quo...

CoachKK · Jun 2

Don’t be confused, vote straight D to set you free 🎵 youtu.be/D5P7x4vh_ts

S Hawkins · Jun 2

% of voters by age only adds up to 58%, so what age are the 42% not counted?

Chris p · Jun 2

I was shocked to hear my 50 year old neighbor, who is a very good neighbor, say he has never voted! He said he had taken a political science class years ago that made him realize he should never vote??? I was speechless. I’m really old and had never heard of someone who must ever as voted.

Just Josh · Jun 2

Gosh, I wonder why this country is the way it is? It's almost like hardly anyone gives a damn, and most everyone is content to let a small handful of other people decide who gets elected.

Mr. X · Jun 2

Those are pitiful numbers. I thought CA had a more involved population. Let's hope they start caring by November.

Kristina McC · Jun 2

Shouldn't the "turnout by age numbers" add up to 100%?

Captain Willard · Jun 2

What an appalling turnout for the “young” voter cohort. Don’t vote don’t complain

Drake Magnum · Jun 2

Rookie numbers. Please vote for the love of civil rights and the very concept of democracy.

Rick · Jun 1

...looks like the parents are worried...!

@whysquared.bsky.social · Jun 1

It’s really shocking to me with everything that is going on in this country that we have so many young people not voting. I’m hoping many plan to vote in person.

DanaKay 🇺🇦 · Jun 2

I'm one of the 3.3 million who have already voted.

S Perrotto · Jun 2

Done and dusted... contributed my bucket to the blue wave

Mike G · Jun 2

How come only 58% are included in an age group? 🤔

HoetmerJaap · Jun 2

Given all that has happened until now, I am baffled that there’s still such a high number of people voting GOP. Are these people blind, dumb? The sheer stupidity of people and the disrespect for basic human values scares me the most.

William J Urmson · Jun 1

Happy Pride Month George Roar! youtu.be/DPNl-kwt6Wk?...

laart20 · Jun 2

wtf democrats? Whats this little low turnout? Get off your lazy asses and go vote Becerra.

Witch of Agnesi 🇺🇦 Ω · Jun 6

The goddamned 18-34 group needs to get off their asses and vote for their future.

JennyS · Jun 2

Yes. …and YES. 🧢🦋🔵👕🥣🐟🚙 (to steal a once popular “Enn eff ell” slogan…) 💙🩵 love ya blue 🩵💙

The PCE · Jun 1

Seriously, the only way to fix this mess is for people to vote in numbers like we’ve never seen before. We cannot have another ho hum 30% turnout.

Blue Feral · Jun 2

Again Gen Z just can’t be bothered. This is going to be very bad for the general election if it continues. How do we reach them?

Itsgreek2me2 · Jun 2

Notice that the 30% of voters is all those over 65 because those people have always voted whether you like them or you hate them. They show up when needed. Be nice if the young people would overtake this number by millions how about it you guys?

Ranking Z · Jun 1

There should be a cut off age for voting and running for office

🇺🇸🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈🇬🇧🇫🇷🇨🇦🛠️🗽💪🏻⚖️ · Jun 1

I’m with you! But I’m not so nice. Get out and vote, you brats! We’re in this mess because young Americans think they don’t have to, got D’s in Civics, or “I’m not into politics”! This is a requirement for Citizenship, like it or not. Most voting precincts are still staffed by Seniors who care!

@dawg95.bsky.social · Jun 2

Omg just fkg vote!!

Phil 🇺🇦🇸🇪🇬🇧🇺🇸 · Jun 1

Don’t understand why they don’t see it as their way up the ladder. To each their own but the government we are living with today was created by some really smart people who know how to manipulate the really dumb. Let’s all put an end to it!

Jacqueline 🇨🇦 · Jun 2

That "other" is what got you all here in November ☹️

Ditsy Von Blunderpants · Jun 2

It defies common sense that the people with the longest lives yet ahead of them are the least interested in a livable, survivable future. Just oy 🤦🏻‍♀️

Whipstitch · Jun 1

Question: Since it's a mass primary, how do they know the party breakdown?

Peace in Oregon · Jun 2

CA MUST VOTE BLUE all the way through the ballot for governor, judges, police chiefs, school superintendents, and anybody else being elected.

@dunagrad.bsky.social · Jun 3

What the hell 18-34 year olds?!

Bright Bart · Jun 1

No disrespect, but it makes me very nervous that the future is being decided overwhelmingly by those staring mortality in the face.

Haemaker · Jun 1

Ceelya 🇨🇦 · Jun 2

Definitely not reaching the young, who are most vulnerable.

@kgmillerannoyed.bsky.social · Jun 2

Folks, get out & vote! If you don't vote, you have no reason to whine & complain about the results (yes, there's exceptions to this). Get out & vote.

Jack Turban MD · Jun 1

Wow that seems like exceptionally high early voting for California GOP?

DocLT · Jun 2

Or drop your ballot in a dropbox. It is too late to mail it.

ʕ∩ꜞ∩ʔ · Jun 1

Trying to figure out the governor primary is a headache. I'm basically waiting for the last minute to decide where to put a vote for the best November options.

ANTIFA Comandante Marelio · Jun 2

apparently the youth are happy with the way the old folks are running things....sad.

@pushin2hard.bsky.social · Jun 2

Hoping that the youth and people of color vote drastically better then they show up for peaceful daylight protests! Old white people have been carrying their water.

@kevezc.bsky.social · Jun 2

Yay, young people! Go vote!

Richard Lehman · Jun 1

Age breakdown only accounts for 58%

BluePiscesGrrrl ♓️ · Jun 2

I wish young voters today had the same Fire In the Belly that we had in the ‘60s!

OtownKim · Jun 2

GenXers are the highest!!

Carol · Jun 2

I dropped my ballot today.

DeeDee🌊🌊 · Jun 2

Wow! People need to get off their butts and vote, especially young people!!!!

Flying None · Jun 1

VOTE tomorrow, primaries. Choose your fighter!

@bonniekas.bsky.social · Jun 1

Looks like the elderly so far... care about democracy and freedom.✊✊

Tom O’Kane · Jun 2

There’s 693,445 others that need to be persuaded to ‘loan’ their vote to the Dems to keep the GOP out.

John Fortman · Jun 2

I just don’t get it. I was itching to vote all through my childhood. Finally turned 18 in time to vote in 1980. I’ve never lost the enthusiasm.

CurtisPaulOstler · Jun 2

Who are the other 42%?….

Nick Searles · Jun 2

Other doesn't work anymore.

JHB · Jun 2

Good luck on that.

@eternalredshirt.bsky.social · Jun 2

And I can’t because I’m 70 miles from the only polling location in my county and never received my ballot in the mail. If I HAD one, I could drop it off in the town where I live.

Cam Litt · Jun 1

Yet they stay loud af online
