MECH-FRI-454: Defining the Ecological Role of Rothia in the Human Oro-Respiratory Tract.
The Lewin Lab is looking for enthusiastic and motivated scientists to join our team. Research Assistants (Technician): We are currently recruiting an engaged and thoughtful Research Assistant to lead a project studying the gene expression of microbes in the human oral cavity using computational approaches. This position may also include additional opportunities to study the oral and vaginal microbiota using computational and/or wet-lab approaches. Postdoctoral Fellows: We currently have an opening to hire a postdoctoral fellow to study how genomic and transcriptomic heterogeneity interplays with microbial interactions in the oral cavity and female reproductive tract. A major component of this work will be computational, with the opportunity for a wet-lab component as well. Ideally, we are interested in postdocs that can start Summer 2026. Postdocs are also encouraged to submit applications for independent funding to pursue these or other projects.
