I fell down a rabbit hole of academic Yahtzee papers (Verhoeff, Glenn, Pawlewicz), then ported Felix Holderied's C solver to TypeScript. The gzipped probability table is just 1.6 MB.

It's also multiplayer with zero backend: peers connect directly over WebRTC (trystero, with Nostr relays only for the handshake). Scan a QR code and game state flows device to device. No server, no accounts, all in the browser.
