I like Richardson a lot. The difference is, if the Colts sense any trouble, they turn to Daniel Jones, as their coaching staff is already on the hot seat. Jones could just win the job out of camp. Fields, if healthy, is likely the starter all season, even if things go wrong.

I think they’re significantly different bets. Fields has 3 straight seasons as a Top 12 QB in PPG and is the guaranteed starter, barring injury. I wish nothing but the best for Richardson, but there’s a real chance Indy rolls with (gross) Daniel Jones at some point.
