Dear Nick, I guess Brian Nehring really didn't waste time going full super villain, huh? Although his pun game could certainly use some work--I'm pretty sure I've heard the "fun guy" one that closed AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #993 every time the subject came up in a biology class. I actually think it's reasonable for him to be mad at Peter, since as far as he knows, Peter DID sabotage his big project. But that doesn't excuse how he's treating everybody else. Back at Peter's pad, does he really not have any television available that's more recent than How I Met Your Mother? Back when it started airing, Peter was living at Avengers Mansion with his wife and aunt. (Goodness knows what May remembers of that era.) Finally, the Uncle Ben look-alike we meet on page 14 is identified by the recap page as one Cormac Crane. Is that a name I should be familiar with? The best I could come up with is that he's perhaps a descendant of Dr. Simon Crane from MARVEL MYSTERY COMICS #13, but that seems unlikely. Martin Pyne Sunnyvale, CA Thanks for writing in, Martin!
