My parents, based on the heavy hype, bought a 49 Ford, then traded it in for a 50 Ford--both were lemons. That experience influenced the rest of their lives--they became a GM family, with Chevys, Oldsmobiles, a Saturn station wagon (useful) with brief forays into a Karmann Ghia, Plymouth Sundance.🤔
