For 55 years now, friends G.A.W and Der Mussikant have known each other, and have been making music together for over 40 years. With their project "HEUTE - Präzisionsmusik", they present musical-minimal-electronic impressions from this era alongside new songs - poppy, edgy, loud and quiet, but always good for a laugh. Some older lyrics are, surprisingly (or alarmingly), more relevant than ever! The new pieces, too, have a distinctly idiosyncratic and edgy character. Electronic music remains at the center - yet always paired with a clear and concrete lyrical statement. Seit nunmehr 55 Jahren kennen sich die Freunde G.A.W und Der Mussikant und musizieren gemeinsam seit über 40 Jahren. Mit dem Projekt „HEUTE - Präzisionsmusik" präsentieren sie musikalisch-minimal-elektronische Eindrücke aus dieser Zeit sowie neue Songs, poppig, kantig, laut und leise, aber immer zum Lachen. Manch alte Texte sind überraschenderweise (oder erschreckenderweise) wieder hochaktuell! Auch die neuen Stücke zeigen sich eigenwillig und kantig. Die elektronische Musik steht nach wie vor im Vordergrund - doch immer mit einer konkreten Textaussage.
Dramachine is a synth-punk/dark pop band from Athens, formed in 2019. Their sound is a collage of raw analog electronics, up-tempo beats, haunting melodies, and addictive hooks. Their lyrics fend off anxiety, despair, and the general apocalypse. Dramachine‘s songs lurch between melancholia and mania, and their live performances are all tension and release: urgent, theatrical, unhinged. Music described as "edgy and recklessly punky with a dash of synth pop," brought to you by three mortals trying to survive in a world of snake-eating bats, ex-boyfriends, extreme weather, self-improvement cults, and low wages.
With their own take on deathrock aesthetics mixed with psychedelic colors and playfulness, BatBoner gives you something different in a genre that is in itself «something different». The music is centered around deathrock, dark punk, gothic rock and postpunk, but takes inspiration from a multitude of genres such as progressive rock, psytrance, black metal and surf. Not everything is apparent in the music but reveals itself in the maximalism, catchyness and overall creative philosophy. Everything that can fit may be used and abused. Come dance your sorrows away. — Mit ihrer ganz eigenen Deathrock-Ästhetik, gemischt mit psychedelischen Farben und verspielten Details, sind BatBoner schon allein optisch frischen Wind mit. Ihre Musik wurzelt in Deathrock, Dark Punk, Gothic Rock und Postpunk, schöpft aber Inspiration aus einer Vielzahl von Genres wie Progressive Rock, Psytrance, Black Metal und Surf. Nicht alles zeigt sich auf den ersten Blick – vieles offenbart sich erst im Maximalismus, der Eingängigkeit und einer schöpferischen Grundhaltung, die alles erlaubt.
