Done. And whilst we're at it... I read somewhere that British spyplanes (based in Cyprus) are used to survey the situation in Gaza and provide Israel with intelligence to use in its decimation of the Palestinian people. Does anyone know if this is true?
Done. I also included this statement from the Israeli Defence Minister for emphasis. The media and the worlds leaders haven't turned up, but at least we have.

To whom it may concern, I’m writing in regard to the UK-flagged vessel, the Madleen, which is currently off the coast of Egypt and heading towards the Gaza to deliver vital emergency aid. The Israeli state has threatened to stop the vessel, using force if necessary.

If you do a copy and paste letter then the department will write a single stock answer and copy and paste it to all of you, same as any 'campaign'. If you REALLY want to bother them, encourage people to vary it, requiring bespoke replies. (as a junior civil servant I used to draft replies)

Worth also sending this to your MP directly as well - the civil service as a whole will prioritise responses to MPs over the general public, so it’s important to mount the pressure on individual MPs to also follow up.
