I agree with Roger but I'd go one farther we're not going to see a working journalists ever again in real life at least on networks

I saw this at the TCM Fest last month. It was introduced John Dean, who did a Q&A afterwards. The final shot of the movie is outstanding.

Even before "HE" was elected I was questioning whether or not today's journalists would be up to the task if a Watergate or Pentagon Papers type event where to happen. This in response to the SCOTUS Bush v. Gore decision. What "HE" has been allowed to get away with makes Watergate seem quaint.
Every American needs to see this movie. Given our current state of affairs, it may be the best historical movie of our time.
ATPM picks up precisely where The Post (Streep, Hanks) leaves off - it is a great double bill and oh-so-relevant now.
The journalist that covered this in real life is why big corporation media doesn't want real journalist.

A cracking film but really...? Pfffff... They thought they were onto something big with Nixon? 😂🤣😂 They should try looking at what the Dear Leader is doing now! Where do you even start? Trump makes Nixon look like a Boy Scout!

All time favorite movie of mine.
A time when journalists and the Washington Post had the courage to bring down a criminal President. How far American journalism has fallen.
Half of the team kept damning interviews regarding COVID in 2020 buried for a year so they'd come out with his book. Yes, their Watergate story was earthshaking, but it seems even Bob Woodward got sucked in to selling Bob Woodward over breaking the news.
I was hoping for a chance to see it on the big screen this summer but haven't seen any plans for that in the Boston area... 🙁

Something definitely worth seeing if you haven't but I don't consider it some kind of masterpiece. Haven't been inclined to rewatch it since its original release.
