Multi Hardcore @gravitybreak.media · Jun 22 i did look into this and for what it's worth, this is explicitly not allowed in the proposed bill the remaining concern is that any kind of AI-related function would implicitly legitimize the presence of content-stealing AI in society, when these companies should be sued into oblivion instead

Thank you for looking this up!!! It's good that they have that clause. But it looks like it only applies to funds from THIS bill - wouldn't prevent the government from bailing out the industry using other funds? And if they've got a stake in the industry, that's what I'd fear they'd do.
