Democratic members of the Buncombe NCGA delegation were sworn in on a destroyed bridge in East Asheville, overlooking the Swannanoa River. We have a long road ahead — but as a proud Western North Carolina native, I can confidently say that these leaders have not and will not let us be forgotten.
