10 CLASSIC #VIDEOGAME REMAKES THAT REALLY UPPED THE ANTE 1. Battlezone Gold (VR Mode) The definitive version of 2016's VR remake of Atari's 1980 vector graphics tank game, Rebellion's arcade roguelike take on the game retained the core of what made the game great. I also love the 1998 RTS remake!
Black Mesa was so good. Absolutely the best way to experience the feel of the original in a more modern context. HL1 was a definitive game for me—I remember being amazed my friend could run it at 1024x768! The game is burned into my brain. 😃
