Emissions would need to fall by 1175 Mt from this year's levels, to hit the EPA's "easier" target of 3600 Mt by 2030. (4775-1175 = 3600). Without natgas and oil consumption joining coal, that is unachievable. Indeed, natgas remains in megagrowth mode, and oil has no catalyst to move it lower. 2/
