What is meant by sensible? Sensible means practical and reasonable. If you're wearing sensible shoes, they're sturdy, comfortable, good for walking, and your feet don't hurt. If you're a sensible person, you're level-headed and calm, and you make wise decisions.

Introduction Wild boar are an invasive species and a provincially regulated agricultural pest in Alberta. They can damage property, agricultural crops, pastures and the environment, and are known to endanger people and animals. Under the Agricultural Pests Act and Pest and Nuisance Control Regulation, landowners are required to control or destroy pests and prevent them from becoming established on their land. You can help protect Alberta from wild boar by learning to identify them and recognize signs of their activity, and reporting sightings.
