Partially rendered painting of Veron (OC) in black and white. One aspect I wanted to focus on was value contrast, hence the use of pure black and very light grey. The other was practicing drawing hair- I wanted to use more wispy shapes for the strands and add more detail without making it too messy.

Character belongs to Dedbunnie21 https://artfight.net/~Dedbunnie21 A crown is held over a masked figure's head. Blood bleeds from the crown and pours over the mask, creating the impression of tears as it flows past an eye hole. The figure's head is tilted, looking down at xyr claw-like hands. In comparison to the thumbnail, the final artwork's height had been extended more. This was because I wanted there to be a vertical flow to the art, starting from the crown and following the trail of blood downwards past the mask and towards the hands.
