My belief system is very straight forward. ALL human beings deserve basic HUMAN rights. Food, shelter, freedom of thought, & the ability to find joy. Religion should be personal & QUIET. Healthcare should be free & widely available. Above all, do no harm.

I'm probably an idiot for being vulnerable on the internet, especially Reddit, but 1 needed to qet this out of my head so maybe I can move on I saw Black Panther; Wakanda Forever ast night and it broke me I unexpectedly lost my dad last September. We lived about 6 hours away from each other, but movies were our thing. Marvel especially but also Star Wars, LOTR, anything sci-fi or fantasy really. When I'd visit we do movie nights to catch him up on whatever Marvel movie he'd miss We'd talk for hours after we both had seen a movie. I always went to the Thursday night premiere of all the MCU and he'd call me Friday to get my non-spoiler thoughts. Spiderman No Wav Home was the first Marvel movie that watched without him. It was hard. I cried the whole way home. But frsts are alwavs hard and 1 figured that would be the worst of it Last niqht I saw Black Panther and 1 cried through the whole movie. It hit so hard. Everything about it was so beautifully painful. In some ways I related to it more than anything else I've seen. I wasn't prepared. I thought was, but was wrong. Black Panther- Wakanda Forever may be the best movie the MCU has done to date. And I'm not sure I can ever watch it again. Edit to add: thank you everyone for sharing with me. It's a club that no one wants to be a member of. Thank you for reminding me of the quote 'What is grief if not love persevering."

Dear @wingsndnsilver.bsky.social I think I may wear these earrings every time I garden. They just feel like they're meant to be there. I can't thank you & Wings enough. I truly was starting to think my spirit was dead, but I felt something last night with the deer & the fireflies & my wildflowers. A tiny something. A whisper. But it was there. I truly believe it's because of your dragonflies, like we were meant to find each other. Wings brought them to life. You brought us together. So thank you. I'm going to treasure this spark, maybe one day figure out how to fan it again. 💙
