Inspired by the 30-mile 'Hands Across Chicago' action-made possible by 35 collaborating groups-we aim to replicate and extend that success along Sheridan Road (WI-32), starting in Kenosha and reaching as far north and south as our partners can take it. Our goals for this event are to create a big, newsworthy demonstration that attracts local/regional press coverage, build partnerships across silos, cross-pollinate ideas and resources among groups, and build a community that centers hope and joy as acts of resistance.
