John Gruber @gruber.foo · Dec 28 I don't know what's going on with the missing video poster image, but the other two sloppy-looking makes would be solved simply by making the minimum width of the window slightly larger.

Welcome to the forever experience of localized macOS. Would be great if they figured out how to solve this for all localizations, even for languages with long compound words.

The Mac App Store app itself is just terrible. Slow, buggy, and badly designed.
In seventeen years of web development, text wrapping on horizontal layouts is probably the number one thing I’ve had to go back and forth on with designers. And that’s not to speak ill of them! It’s an omission in their own tooling that inherits print’s assumption of a constant canvas size.
