It seems that due to new requirements under UK law, Rockstar Games are going to begin requiring age verification to play their games. Players will likely have to submit ID or a facial scan to play GTA Online. Source: Tez2

This law is genuinely ridiculous. I've played GTAO since it released when I was 13 years old, back then I'd have just used my Mum or Sister's ID to get by it. This does nothing but make kids lie about their age and put them at more risk.
