Yeah I measured this (table below): subscribed to both firehoses, matched the same event by did+cid, compared arrival time on @sifa.id's EU server. @eurosky.social delivered first ~64-69% of events, median ~42ms sooner. You're right distance matters though: for the US-PDS tail, @bsky.app won.

And that's on the global firehose, which skews US. Currently 46% of Sifa's users are on @eurosky.social PDSes. Those events stay in-region 🇪🇺 via Eurosky but cross the Atlantic twice via Bluesky, so for our actual traffic the lead is bigger.
