I haven't bought physical cards in ages, and I bought all 4 Final Fantasy Commander decks lol I'm still considering just buying a complete set because it was the perfect setting matched with a very fun set design
I think Final Fantasy and Lord of the Rings were the best because of the care taken in making them. They're done so well so they got in with Magic, and the Magic cards work in the lore of those series. Hoping the same for The Hobbit next year and Avatar next month.
DnD, bauldrs gate, lord of the rings, assassins creed and final fantasy were ones that made since to me. As much as I love fallout, doctor who and marvel, they didn’t need to be in mtg.
