Ants and aphids have a symbiotic relationship where ants "farm" aphids, protecting them from predators and moving them to new food sources in exchange for honeydew, a sweet liquid the aphids secrete. Ants stroke aphids with their antennae to encourage them to release honeydew, which they then consume as a food source.
