an anthro figure, with ears and tail sits somberly at the foot of a β€˜pc’ monitor. head resting on the table, communications on the monitor show long messages from the user, and one short response from the correspondent. wires and modems tangle the wall across from them, a setup which surely required much effort.
two figures lean against each other back to back, unbalanced, the only thing keeping them from the ground are their clasped hands behind themselves. conjoined the two rely on each for stability, though they can only see each other in partial, fickle trust.
a pale white figure stands at the cusp of a buildings edge. planks warp out of place and begin to fly loose around them. a godly wrath threatens to tear the figure into the sky should they step just a foot more away from the temporary safety of the derelict houses edge.
intertwined at the hand, who characters are illustrated in an all but blank piece of paper, the top fourth quadrant is on a separate sheet behind the foreground, visible only because of a tear in the foreground sheet. the seam cuts through the hands of the characters. a single gust of wind is all it will take to separate them, but for now they share darting glances, too scared to move.
