I love stationery very much. I know that’s a rather self-deprecating admission, but it’s true. Collecting, maintaining, and using fountain pens, along with delightful notebooks and other goodies, brings me immense joy. Unfortunately, my dyspraxia afflicts me with awful handwriting. Fate is cruel.

For context: the handwriting sample I’ve provided is the result of me writing incredibly slowly and intentionally, and of years of practice. My teachers used to comment that my handwriting looked “like a spider has walked through ink, and then across your page.”

Definitely looks better than my handwriting :) What ink are you using? Looks a bit like Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo.

We are all stationery/fountain pen/journal nerds on here 😀. Content is far more important than your handwriting but schools seem to crush creativity and major on handwriting. You should see the way my son writes 😦but he had a flair for creative writing (and making me laugh). Keep at it!
