Bristol area rail upgrades - Monday 17 August to Thursday 27 August Buses replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach 17th - 21st - No trains can stop at Lawrence Hill, Stapleton Road or Ashley Down. Travelling by train to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday 10th May? Here is some important information about your journey. Getting there Almost 10,000 extra seats will be provided to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. Reservations will be mandatory on ALL services to Cardiff Services will NOT call at Bristol Parkway. Travel to Cardiff from Bristol Temple Meads instead, or from Chippenham/Bath Spa (not calling at Bristol Temple Meads) Please book tickets and make reservations early to avoid disappointment Getting back More than 20 trains will be provided to get you home. A queuing system will be in operation and the station will be very busy. Seat reservations are not mandatory for the return journey and passengers will be boarded on a first come, first served basis.
