(Nidec CCI), suffered a ransomware attack after attackers gained unauthorised access to part of its network.

The BlackField hacking group later claimed responsibility, alleging the exfiltration of more than 2 TB of data allegedly including employee records, financial, procurement, sales, manufacturing, IT, legal, compliance, and project documentation, and demanded US$2 million to delete the stolen data.
