I sorta feel you on that? But at times for me it's the opposite. Kinda hard to explain tbh My shiny Koraidon character for example, while he's got a lot of scars from fights he got into in the past, he also doesn't exactly speak all that much and is a mechanic who generally keeps to himself

I barely write lore for my digimon lores but when I do... It feels great. Sadly, this is an uncommon thing nowadays. I do have a rather concept of my own Digimon setting/lore actually and pretty much all the Digimon character artworks you see in my profile are involved in it.
