Poster inviting residents of New Brunswick to attend a Clean Air Day event organized by the New Brunswick Mask Bloc. This event will take place on June 7th, 2025 from 12:30-2:30pm on the NB Legislature grounds. We will be building a few air filters that were generously donated and will be available to answer any questions you might have about helping your community gather in a safer way. The NB Mask Bloc will also be distributing free respirators and rapid tests - the rapid tests in limited quantities. The rain date for the event is the next day at the same time.

I could barely FaceTime my friends from triage while the nurse rudely took my vitals. I had so much pain that I had to miss my neurology appointment I made 6 months ago in order to go straight to the ER. Someone next door to me must have been shot because I heard a bunch of commotion for a while but that doesn't excuse them ignoring me. I had to wait more than 15 minutes for the medicine that starts with the D and they kept asking me questions like why I was there and what the reactions were to my 40 drug allergies. I told them to look in my chart!!! I pulled the sheet over my head so nobody would bother me but they kept coming in my room and waking me up. 0/10. STAY AWAY.

Mask Distribution Where? - offer upgrades to people in cloth or surgical masks in the stores - Keep your ears open for people commenting on your mask. Recently I overheard someone say they wish they could mask but couldnā€™t afford it. I always keep a box of 20 in my car for this reason. - Parenting groups on fb, offered masks to parents who seemed fed up that their kids were always sick - Public parking lot meet ups. I hang out for an hour or two and let people come to me. In my experience the most receptive are the people in group number 2. What info? - If approaching a stranger I always thank them for wearing a mask, any mask, and ask if I can offer them one that offers more protection. - I try to have fit test graphics printed and available (from PoPNBs safe September school kit)
