Théodred's helmet is very similar to his cousin Éomer's, which I had made in 2013, so I used a casting of that helmet as a base and modified it with various styrene, 3D printed, and foam parts.

It's not perfect, there are things I wish I had done differently or had turned out better. But I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish, and I got to wear it to meet Adam Savage, which isn't nothing.
