Text reads, "Introduction: Tabletop Roleplaying Games should be for everyone - unless you’re a bigot, fascist, or otherwise intolerant of others' existence (read up on the paradox of intolerance before you come at me claiming double standards). Oftentimes shapechangers, Werecreatures, and other monstrous beings are portrayed as exactly that - monsters - inhumane, unrelatable, destructive, and something to be feared. Our protagonists are able to utilize that fear to do good things though, to wield their fearsome powers to help break the stranglehold that those who seek to oppress have on the world. To make them the ones who are afraid. To help make the world more equitable and safe, by whatever means necessary. This game is at its heart a roleplaying game - meaning the players at the table will work together to tell a story through the parts they play, both as protagonists, and storyteller. This is not a game where there is a winner and a loser, the storyteller is not there to try to “beat” you, or at least they shouldn’t be, and the only way to “win” is by having fun and telling stories with your friends." As creatures who live with two different identities and who are likely to be ostracized at best, and hunted and killed at worst, it is likely that this game and the shapechangers within will resonate with Queer folx out there, and as a Queer person myself I know a bit about how that feels. Your table is able to set your own expectations and tone though, if you want to play a more silly game, ala What We Do In The Shadows, but with Werewolves instead of Vampires, do it!
