Han'urel Ivars, a Sea Wolf roegadyn Warrior of Light. He has pale green skin, short dark blue hair with a matching chinstrap beard, and brown eyes. He has two golden tattoos, one a wave pattern under his right eye, and the other a geometric pattern on the center of his forehead. There are two thin scars on his left jaw.

With a puff of glitter and a small rush of wind, Alphinaud's Moonstone Carbuncle materialized midair and gently landed on top of the table. Alphinaud reached down to scratch its head and it chirped contentedly. "'Tis good to know I haven't lost my touch since taking up Father's nouliths," he chuckled. "Now, as a beginning Arcanist, you'll like as not learn to summon an Emerald Carbuncle first. It will look much the same as Moonstone, save for being blue in color." That made Han'urel furrow his brow and look up from Moonstone. "Hang on. It's called Emerald, but it's blue?" Some of the Garlean refugees, with nothing better to do than observe Alphinaud's makeshift lesson in the middle of Tertium, snickered to themselves. Alphinaud shrugged sheepishly. "So far as I know, it's been that way for as long as arcanima has been around." "Hmm." Han'urel returned to peering closely at Moonstone. "Its teeth are...pretty small, huh." Alphinaud cocked his head. "Hm? I should hardly think it has much in the way of teeth at all. Whyever would it need them?"
