Text: Dear Henry Prager, Cc: Chris Crawford (HR Manager, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences), I was impressed with both your application and your interview, and I would like to offer you a postdoctoral position at the University of Iowa. You would be funded for at least two years, with the third year being contingent on funding and progress. The aim would be for you to spend approximately half of your time continuing your current research program, and the other half expanding your program for greater alignment with my own research efforts in observations of variable stars, as well as helping mentor students.
