4 star review of Dungeon Crawler Carl that says: This was fun! I get the hype, the world building was really good and this was an entertaining and fast paced read. Definitely reminds me of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in regards to the concept and apocalypse circumstances. I also loved how this felt like being in a video game without actually being one. My only complaint is that the humor was kinda edgy-bro esque at times, mainly with the video game AI that did the achievements and enemy descriptions, but thankfully it wasn't super often. I'm definitely excited to get to the second book, and I would recommend this for a fun time.
